Your data on this site

The short version

No accounts, no cookies, no ads, no trackers. The site remembers two small settings in your own browser and looks up the weather near you. That's it.

Weather

The scenes rain or snow with your weather. To do that, the server reads the approximate location that the host (Vercel) works out from your IP address, rounds it to about 10 km, and asks Open-Meteo for the current weather there. Nothing about it is stored, and your IP address is never passed on.

Stored in your browser

Your language choice (localStorage, key "lang"), so the site opens in it next time, and whether you've already seen the opening animation this visit (sessionStorage, key "preloaded", gone when you close the tab). Neither leaves your device.

Hosting

The site runs on Vercel, which handles every request and keeps the usual short-lived server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to run and protect the service. The fonts are served from this site, not from Google.

When you write to me

If you email me or message me on Discord, I keep the conversation only to reply and to work on your project. I don't add you to any list or share it with anyone. Ask me to delete it and I will.
